Out of Kuwait comes a handbag and leather goods brand set to make it big - Shanta, Arabic for "bag", the collaboration of friends Muneera Al Naibari and Sirine Sadeddin.

What I love about them is that not only is there a high quality natural feel to them, there is also a timelessness about them. And when it comes to design and colour, you're spoilt for choice...there are the sleek, classic designs like the "Madame" and the "Classic", the undeniable pomp and glamour of the "Red Classic", the more boho "Messenger", and the slightly rocky, slightly romantic "Ruffle Dream", all available in a range of colours.

Accessories are an integral part of any fashionista's wardrobe and as abaya wearers know, spot-on shoes and bags can turn any abaya from "3adi" to "kash5a". For Spring/Summer 2011 shoe trends, some are readaptations of already current trends, such as the white trend, flower trend and '70s trend, whereas some shoe trends are individual trends in their own right. My favorite? Definitely the use of rope and ribbon instead of the conventional strap...there are so many different ways you could tie them!
